For garment making, accessories and quilting, the Brother PQ1600S brings fast, strong straight stitching to your sewing room. With speeds of up to 1,500 stitches per minute and a stitch length of up to 7mm, it’s ready for long seams and larger projects. Heavy-duty construction provides increased stability as you work.
The expanded fabric bed offers 145mm of height and 220mm of width (5.7” x 8.6”), giving you space to handle your work. An included wide table adds extra support when sewing quilts or other bulky projects.
Control for neat seams and varied fabrics
The flexible presser foot has two independently moving sides to help manage different fabric thicknesses at the front and rear of the foot. It’s a useful feature for hems, French seams and other areas where layers meet.
An adjustable pin feed mechanism, four feed dog height settings and colour-coded presser foot pressure adjustment give you control over fabric feeding. Use the full drop feed function for free-motion quilting and embroidery. The included knee lift lets you raise the presser foot without taking your hands off your project.
